At 61 years of age I can proudly say I have lived my entire life in Lake County. Raised my family of two daughters and two sons in Silver Bay. I just retired from the Silver Bay fire department after serving 35 rewarding years. I am currently serving my 28th year as your County Commissioner. I started my public service with a year as a Silver Bay Councilman before moving on to Commissioner. I also have worked an entire career at Northshore Mining.
I enjoy anything outdoors such as fishing, wheeling, snowmobiling, or camping with friends and family. I’ve been skydiving a few times and do plan on a few more jumps.
2020 has been a challenge for each and every one of us, especially our business owners. I want to show my support for them by doing something that may be a bit uncomfortable but will help the Chamber raise some much needed funds.
Carpe Diem, good-bye hair!
