Borrow modern aluminum snowshoes or go traditional with wooden snowshoes if conditions allow. \nMost of the snowshoe will be on flat surfaces\, but we will practice going up and down slopes (optional). Mic will also go over helpful techniques for snowshoeing while carrying gear. \nMeet in the visitor center theater for snowshoe fittings\, a five -minute presentation and outdoor demonstration.

Every session features a new theme and painting style — perfect for both beginners and experienced artists looking to relax\, create\, and enjoy a cold beer while they paint. \nThis week\, we will be painting with one color of your choice\, though you are allowed to lighten and darken it with white and black. We will discuss color washing and color density. This is a super fun way to explore values (light and darks) within your subject in a monochromatic way. In this class\, we will learn how to look at your subject and how to create dynamic depth using only one color. \nClass is $15 for Voyageur Members/$20 for non-members \nClass is limited to 20 participants\, no experience necessary\, and all the materials will be supplied.
