Climbing

Interested in climbing in Lake County? Check out these awesome places to climb before you attempt to scale anything.

Climbing is a great way to experience nature and exercise. One of the more unique places where you can climb is Tettegouche State Park. The premier spot for climbing has to be Palisade Head where there are open-faced cliffs going down towards Lake Superior. This climb is for those who are more experienced and should be attempted with proper training. A free permit is required for anyone who wants to climb, and it is available in the park headquarters during business hours.

If you aren’t up for such a hardcore climbing experience, look into visiting the Adventure Park on the North Shore located in Silver Bay. The park includes climbing areas as well as ziplines. This is fun for the whole family and can also be used for corporate retreats. Be sure to visit the Adventure Park on the North Shore next time you are in Lake County.
