The Greenwood Fire, which began on August 16, has grown to a dangerous level. To date, more than 20,000 acres have burned and firefighters are working tirelessly to reduce its footprint and extinguish the fire. The Lake County Chamber is gathering donations and resources to assist those who have been affected by the fire and support the local fire departments. All donations will be given directly to local fire departments and residents in need.

Ways You Can Help

Donate Supplies

Lake County Chamber and Park State Bank are collecting supplies that will be distributed to the local fire departments. The following supplies have been requested:

• Electrolyte packets, energy packets, protein packets that you can add to water bottles
• Water
• Gatorade
• Protein Bars

Monetary Donations

You can donate money through either Venmo or GoFundMe. One hundred percent of proceeds will stay within Lake County and directly benefit those affected by the Greenwood Fire.
