1. "Small Business of the Year" Nomination

Please select up to TWO nominations based on the following criteria:

The nominee must have:

  • Shown continued commitment to promoting the business community's growth through their donation of time, resources or personnel, supporting the Chamber's mission of business growth and prosperity.
  • Exemplified civic community engagement and volunteerism
  • Demonstrated superior customer service.
  • Provided employees a positive and respectful work environment.

*You may choose up to TWO businesses. Winners from the past five years will not be eligible to win.

3. "Not-for-Profit Community Service Organization of the Year" Nomination

Please select up to TWO nominations based on the following criteria:

The nominee must have shown a continued example of service to our community in providing a notable impact on the quality of life for our area residents.

Not-for-Profit Organization of the Year Nomination

4. Nominations for "Citizen of the Year"

The nominee for this award should be a long-term leader who has actively engaged in our community. This award is for someone with great integrity who has continuously demonstrated a leadership role in community organizations and has selflessly donated time and energy into serving the well being of others. This person does not have to own a business or be a member of the Two Harbors Area Chamber. Contributions made by this individual must create a long-lasting benefit to the community.

5. Nomination for "Volunteer of the Year"

The nominee must have shown a superior example of service in our area, through community involvement and ongoing volunteerism.

6. Nomination for "Young Professional of the Year" Award

Nominee must be under 40 years of age and:

  • Demonstrated a commitment to social responsibility.
  • Shown a high level of entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, perseverance, creativity, and determination to be successful.
  • Exemplify civic community engagement and volunteerism.

7. Nomination for "Entrepreneur of the Year Award"

This individual, business, or organization truly embodies the entrepreneurial spirit. Their commitment, vision, and demonstrated perseverance in the face of adversity and ability to overcome obstacles is what truly sets them apart. They are willing to take risks by starting a new venture; expanding into a new area; strengthening their business, or taking on a new project. They build strategic alliances, collaborate, and surround themselves with talented people on their team.

8. Nomination for "Lake County Government Partner Award"

This award recognizes a business or organization that supports and promotes the economic impact of the federal government presence and advocates on behalf of all of the Lake County community for business opportunities.

9. Nomination for "Chamber Ambassador of the Year" award:

This award recognizes an individual or organization which best represents the values of networking and connecting Chamber membership with the community. This recipient stands out as an ambassador for the chamber and all of Lake County, participates in chamber events and adopts the chamber’s principles throughout our community.
