Gordy Anderson

I was born and raised in Two Harbors and graduated in 1962. I joined the US Army for three years and was discharged in 1965.  I worked construction on the Iron Range for about a year, then at Reserve Mining for a few months, and then started with the local telephone company where I retired from in 1996.  After my retirement, I was approached to work as director of the Chamber for a short period of time, which turned out to be another 19 years. I retired again in 2014.

Today I am active with the American Legion Post 109, I do some of the Administrative work for the Voyageur Snowmobile Club, and publish a couple of maps and the Community Directory for the Chamber. I like to stay busy!

I love spending time with family which includes 15 grandkids; I try to keep playing golf and enjoy a little fishing.
