Food for Thought Becomes Food for Students
Mark Langenfeld, a Psychology instructor at Northwood Technical College in Superior, WI, will
be doing a book signing at the Tipsy Mosquito on Saturday, May 23 rd , from 1 to 3 p.m. for his
book, Wisdom from the Woods: A Year of Gentle Guidance from Mother Nature.
Here’s the good news: 100% of the author’s royalties will be donated to the Student
Nutrition Assistance Program through the Northwood Technical College Foundation to help
feed hungry students and their families.
This is an entertaining, feel-good, wellness book that combines three topics: Emotional well-
being, our interconnectedness with the Earth, and mindfulness. The motivational stories were
inspired by Mother Nature Herself and draw on wisdom from a lifetime of hiking and meditating
in the woods in WI and MN.
